‘The Franklin W Ross award is probably the pinnacle achievement for any hunting guide from Alberta. It represents a small group of people who’ve been acknowledged for something they are not only passionate about, but that they live for. For the award to be named after Franklin could not be more fitting. He was everything a guide should and truly has to be to be successful. Having our names under his means a lot to each and every one of us, and I think I speak for all of us when I say receiving this award is truly one of my most honourable moments.’
