In addition to our various fundraisers, WSFA is very proud to host Youth Hunter Sheep Camps since 2003. The summer camp is held at Beaver Mines west of Pincher Creek, June 9-11. This weekend camp is for kids from the ages of 11 to 17. Volunteer professional instructors attend and provide the opportunity for kids to learn skills and knowledge regarding sheep habitat, fly fishing, firearm use and safety, hide preparation and caping, field care of trophies, taxidermy, setting up camps, cooking, wilderness survival, and packing and horsemanship.

Funds raised through our Hunt of a Lifetime raffle goes to this Summer Camp, as well as to the Northern Youth Mentorship Program, and our Special Youth Hunt, which is awarded to one of the Summer Camp participants.

Wild Sheep Foundation of Alberta would like to acknowledge and thank MSL Funding for supporting our youth Initiatives.
